The Beginner's Guide to the End Times
On September 23, 2025, a significant portion of the internet was convinced the world was ending.
The hashtag #RaptureTok hit 300,000 posts. Google searches for the word "rapture" spiked 1,000 percent. People made goodbye videos. People called their families. People — this is documented — sold their cars.
Then September 24 arrived. The cars were gone. The Church was not.
If you've ever felt the cold panic of walking into a quiet house and wondering, even for a split second, if you got left behind — this book is for you. If you've sworn off End Times teaching entirely because someone you trusted turned out to be embarrassingly wrong — this book is also for you.
Because the answer to bad End Times teaching is not no End Times teaching. It's better End Times teaching.
What This Book Actually Does
Pastor Josh Clark walks you through the entire Book of Revelation — chapter by chapter, image by image — from the vision of the risen Christ that knocked the apostle John flat on a prison island to the river of life running through the middle of a city that needs no sun. Along the way he answers the questions you're actually asking, the ones you're afraid to ask out loud in church.
Three promises right up front:
- This book will not predict dates.
- This book will not try to scare you into faith.
- This book will not treat you like you can't handle nuance.
What's Inside
- 22 chapters across three parts — foundations, a chapter-by-chapter walk through Revelation, and the big questions (the Rapture, timing views, Israel, the Bema seat, revival, and "now what?")
- Personal Bible Study Guide at the end of every chapter — Read It / Observe It / Interpret It / Apply It, plus a journal prompt
- Small Group Discussion Guide at the end of every chapter — built for groups of 3 to 12, no seminary degree required
- Five appendices, including Top 10 End Times Questions, a fair side-by-side of all four Rapture timing views, a glossary, a brief (and slightly painful) history of failed predictions, and a full Small Group Facilitator Guide
- A 20-week study pace built right into the structure — perfect for a small group, Bible study, or college ministry semester
Who This Book Is For
- The young adult who grew up with Rapture anxiety and never fully shook it
- The skeptic who wrote off End Times teaching after one too many failed predictions
- The new believer who's never read Revelation and isn't sure where to start
- The small group leader looking for a 20-week study that won't bore the room or scare it
- The pastor who needs a resource to put in the hands of an anxious congregant on a Tuesday afternoon
"You are not crazy for being afraid of Revelation. A lot of people are. But the antidote to fear is not avoidance — it is truth. Specifically, the truth about the One who put His hand on a terrified old man on a prison island and said, 'Do not be afraid.' That is where we are going."
